APTC - Auxiliary
Power Transfer Circuit

The APTC is designed to transfer generator or AC
systems power to AC fluorescent lighting ballasts in the event of a
utility power failure. Emergency illumination is provided to
designated fluorescent fixtures by transferring back up generator or
inverter power to the ballast. The result is full lumen output of
the designated fixtures.
The housing and cover are constructed of 24 gauge
galvanized steel. The standard damp location listing allows the
APTC to operate in a temperature range of 32oF (0oC)
to 131oF (55oC). At only 8" long and 1.1"
wide, this low profile housing allows mounting in most low profile
fluorescent fixtures with low profile AC ballast. A wire bundle
end cap is also provided with the fixture to allow mounting on top of
the light fixture housing.
