The IX Series features a rugged cast copper-free aluminum emergency unit designed exclusively for use in Class I, II, Division 1, and Class III areas. The unit is constructed so that the cabinet will contain an internal arc without propagating it into a hazardous atmosphere.

Designed for use in conjunction with Chloride' s hazardous location fixtures.
