Chloride's R-Series explosion proof fixtures are UL listed to 924 and 844 and are suitable for use Class I, Division 1 & 2, Groups C & D; Class I, Zone 1 & 2, Groups IIB & IIA; Class II, Division 1 & 2, Groups E, F & G; Class III, Division 1 & 2. The R-Series is available in ceiling, wall, or pendant mount configurations.

When used with the IX Series power pack, these fixtures are ideal for use in hazardous locations where explosive materials may be present. The R-Series is also available as a self-contained fixture. The R-Series is suitable for use in extreme hazardous location areas.

Illumination is accomplished with halogen incandescent or compact fluorescent lamps protected with a heat resistant globe.
